Stay Healthy In The Summer
"Summertime and the living is easy", words from a song to describe how great summer can be. Let's keep it that way by following a few tips on how to stay healthy in the summer. Travelling, camping outdoors, gardening, golfing, art festivals, and food safety all present opportunities for harmful germs to cause illness.
Public restrooms are breeding places for germs, especially Plane restrooms and those rest area and portable "potties" Keep some hand sanitizer in your pocket. Remember exiting them by using your clean hands can defeat your handwashing.
Always wash your hands before preparing food, especially those with raw chicken and boiled eggs.
Adding germs from these foods can easily lead to food poisoning. So does leaving cold potato salad out of the refrigerator for a long time. Wash your hands and the fresh produce that you harvest from the garden.
Golfers really come in contact with a variety of harmful bacteria. They are on the golfcarts, in the soil and grass, in the water, and more. When you are finished with your game, visit the restroom and wash off all that stuff. You are probably going to have something to eat or drink.
Enjoy all that summer brings and stay healthy doing it.
